With over 19 years of experience, Dr. David Free is dedicated to providing exceptional eyecare for his patients. Dr. Free is a native of Bristow, Oklahoma and attended both Oklahoma State University and Northeastern State University. He received his Doctorate of Optometry degree in 1988 from Northeastern State University College of Optometry in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. He also has a B.S. in Vision Science from NSU.
Prior to moving back to Tulsa, Dr. Free served in the United States Air Force as Chief of Optometric Services at Norton Air Force Base and was an adjunct professor for the Southern California College of Optometry. In 1994 Dr. Free established a successful private practice in Arlington, Texas. He served on the Diabetic Task Force for Kaiser Permanente and as President of the Tarrant County Optometic Society.
Dr. Free and his wife, Tara, have been married for 19 years and have two young sons named Sean and Luke. Dr. Free enjoys golfing in his spare time.
Dr. Courtney Bratton, OD is a 2007 graduate of Northeastern State University Oklahoma College of Optometry. Dr. Bratton attended Northeastern State University where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in biology. While attending Northeastern State University Oklahoma College of Optometry she won the “Outstanding Research in Vision Development” award. Dr. Bratton completed an externship with the Veterans Administration Hospital in Muskogee, Oklahoma in 2007. She then began her optometric career as an adjunct faculty at the college of optometry.
Dr. Bratton began a private practice in Ada, OK in 2008, where she served her community for 9 years. Dr. Bratton joined Kennedy Eyecare in November of 2017 and has a passion for pediatrics, contact lens and aesthetics.
Dr. Bratton’s professional affiliations include memberships in the American Optometric Association, Oklahoma Association of Optometric Physicians, College of Optometrist in Vision Development, AOA InfantSee program, and AOA Contact Lens Section.
Dr. Bratton currently lives in Ada with her husband Bryan and 3 children, Mackenzie, Tyler, and Logan. Dr. Bratton and her family believe in sharing the love of Jesus Christ locally and also to the ends of earth. With their church Dr. Bratton and her family volunteer locally and in other countries. In her spare time she loves to read, garden, and hunt. Dr. Bratton is currently studying to obtain a certificate in women’s ministry from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary.
Dr. Kelly Glass attended the University of Houston College of Optometry and graduated in May 2014. Her training included rotations in ocular disease and pediatric eye exams at La Nueva Casa de Amigos in Houston, Texas, and ocular disease management at Northeastern State University Oklahoma College of Optometry. She is a member of the American Optometric Association, and a lifetime member of Mensa, the International High IQ Society.
Kelly and her husband, Neil, moved to Oklahoma in 2016. Neil recently graduated from optometry school and will be starting a residency at the Tulsa Veteran Affairs July 2020. The couple enjoy watching movies, working out, and playing with their beautiful 8-month-old baby.
